Hey all! I'm new to these forums, but I figured I'd jump in and just show you what I've got so far. I did this in about an hour or so last night, so tell me what you think!



Just ignore the white splotches, they're some smudges I removed with photoshop and didn't notice until I uploaded the image

What media did you use? Looks like coloured pencils to me . The image is pretty nifty, the dervish himself is well proportioned and I especially like the hood. The scythe looks a little odd to me though, mainly the perspective on the blade.

I look forward to seeing more of your stuff ^_^

I think this piece of work is very well done. I agree that the perspective of the scythe is a little off, particularly when examining the bottom fixture of the staff, which appears to be facing directly toward the viewer, whereas the scythe seems angled downward. Other than that though this is a very nice drawing. The shading of the hood and upper body in particular is very well done. Good work.

Very nice, i especially like the shape of the head, heads and faces totally elude me in drawings
